Perhaps there is a real correlations between this and obesity and drug use. We as a society have too much time on our hands. Instead of being active with our bodies and productive, you have used machines and technology to do a lot of the work for us. Now we are reaping the so called “benefits” of this technological playground we have created.
It’s unfortunate that our parents are no longer the role models for health and fitness; they work longer and longer hours and find themselves too exhausted to use the stove to cook, are often too tired to do housework, and don’t do exercise.
So, what can we do to solve these health and lifestyle problems?
Well, part of the solution is to be proactive in our fight for proper health. If you have kids, get rid of that TV, put a time limit on computer usage. Enroll your children into sports. For you own sake, change your diet and get into a gym. Follow proper nutrition. Your example will show your children how to live a healthy lifestyle. You will also be ensuring you have a much longer lasting and illness free life ahead of you.
